The work of the biggest project in the field of diagnosis of patients’ medical conditions will be held on the last days of May, 2010. The II-nd scientific-educational forum with international participation “Medical Diagnostics” and the II-nd international specialized exhibition “MEDiagnostics 2010” will take part from May 25 to May 27, 2010.

The forthcoming forum, which combines various specialists of different diagnostic trends within the intensive scientific agenda, will place the main emphasis on the relevant problems of diagnosis in Neurology, Perinatology, Cardiology, and Neurosurgery. The range of diagnostic techniques, which are applied for the evaluation of fetal condition and development, detection of a small structure in the brain anatomy and its functioning, has become much broader with the development of clinical medicine. That is why it is supposed to review the latest achievements in the field of high speed magnetic resonance imaging, neurosonography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasonography on this forum. Close attention on the forum will be paid to the new methods of investigation of the functional diagnostics with the attraction of the latest achievements in Electrophysiology, Biophysics, Information Technique, Mathematical Modeling, and Computer Technologies.

The possibilities and achievements of contemporary laboratories of diagnostics at the exigent conditions, infectious pathology, including hepatitis, HIV infections, and HIV-associated diseases, will not be left unattended because full discussion of the data of socially important issues should increase the effectiveness from the use of hi-tech medical equipment, the promotion in speeding up of the establishing diagnosis. All this should reduce the incapacity, disability, mortality and should also improve the quality of people’s life and its duration.

The following scientific events will be held within the frames of the present forum:

• The VIII-th All-Russian education and scientific- methodological conference among the chiefs of department of radiodiagnosis and therapeutics
• The congress on the laboratory diagnostics “Laboratory technologies for the delivery of health care”
• An International educational forum in STAR Radiology
• An extended meeting of the Topical Educational and Methodological Committee on radiodiagnosis and therapeutics
• The meeting with the main specialists on radiodiagnosis, the leading radiographers and specialists in ultrasonic diagnosis of RF regions
• The meeting of the Expert Council on the use of contrast dyes

Alongside with these events, an International specialized exhibition “MEDiagnostics” will work. Its display areas present the newest diagnostic equipment from Russian and foreign manufacturers every year. The exhibition includes the following branches: radial, laboratorial, and functional diagnostics, and also medical computer technologies.
