Over the past month, the number of children with COVID-19 has skyrocketed.

"Today, among our young patients, we see that 50% have a disease with a bright clinic, and in total in the country today, almost 60 thousand children are being treated by medical personnel", ‒ commented the head of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko at a meeting of the Presidium of the Coordination Council under the government on the fight against coronavirus on October 26, 2021.

At the Congress of pediatric infectious diseases, Russian leaders in the field of pediatric infectious diseases will discuss what features of COVID-19 are typical for children; discuss clinical guidelines and other important issues in the field of pediatric infectious diseases.
