Today, on January 21, the XVI International Congress on reproductive medicine, which was held in the OnLine format, was successfully completed.

For four days, the scientific work of the Congress was attended by the world's best scientists and specialists from Belgium, Brazil, Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Israel, India, Italy, Canada, the UAE, Portugal, Russia, the USA, France, Japan.

In total, 11 plenary sessions, 6 master classes on endoscopic surgery, 3 plenary lectures, a special lecture, and a competition of young scientists were held during the event. The reports addressed the most pressing issues and presented the latest research and technologies in reproductive medicine.

Experts raised such topics as COVID-19 and reproductive health, infertility, the future of medical practice in post-ovarian time, endometriosis surgery based on its classification, robot-assisted surgery in reproductive gynecology, intrauterine surgery of complications of monochorionic multiple pregnancy and many others.

At the closing of the Congress, the director of the FSBI «National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology named after Academician V.I.Kulakov» of the Ministry of Health of Russia made a speech. Gennady Sukhikh summed up the results and noted the importance of the topics that were presented in the speakers' reports. He thanked all the lecturers who took part in the preparation of the scientific program, as well as all the listeners who joined the broadcast.

According to preliminary statistics, more than 17.5 thousand views were recorded during the 4 days of the Congress!
