Registration is ongoing for the XII International Congress "Sanatorium-Resort Treatment," which will take place on May 21-22. The congress will focus on strategic development vectors, new approaches, and advanced practices aimed at increasing efficiency, implementing innovations, and strengthening the role of sanatorium-resort treatment as an integral part of the healthcare system.

The congress is held with the support and direct participation of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and in accordance with the plan of scientific and practical events of the Ministry of Health of Russia for 2026.

Venue and format: Moscow, Leningradsky avenue, 31A, bldg. 1 (Monarch Moscow Hotel), in-person, free of charge.

The organizers of the Congress: the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the Federal State Budgetary Institution "National Medical Research Center for Rehabilitation and Balneology" of the Ministry of Health of Russia, and the Association of Resort and Tourist Cities.

The XII International Congress "Sanatorium-Resort Treatment" will bring together leading experts to define the industry's development vectors, implement advanced scientific achievements, and shape future health improvement standards. The congress will feature authoritative speakers – leaders and experts playing a key role in implementing significant changes in the resortology industry, chief freelance specialists in sanatorium-resort treatment, specialists from scientific and clinical centers of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, leaders and specialists in practical rehabilitation medicine, and representatives of departmental medicine within the sanatorium-resort complex of Russian regions. Participation from representatives of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the State Duma, and the Federation Council is expected.

The Congress's scientific and practical program consists of 20 sections, panel discussions, meetings, and masterclasses, covering the entire spectrum of issues facing the modern sanatorium-resort sector, with a focus on digitalization, economic efficiency, and advanced medicine. Participants will discuss the strategic direction of the industry's development, the experience of departmental sanatorium-resort organizations and benchmarking with other sectors, infrastructure and material and technical base issues, digitalization of business processes and the implementation of modern technologies in sanatorium-resort organizations, new scientific achievements in Russian and foreign курортология (balneology/spa medicine), innovative approaches to non-drug technologies and traditional medicine methods in complex treatment, and methods of regenerative and translational medicine. Special emphasis will be placed on modern methods of sports medicine and medical rehabilitation.

Over two days, a specialized exhibition will feature medical rehabilitation equipment, devices, apparatuses, medical products for balneotherapy, peloidotherapy, physiotherapy equipment, sports medicine equipment with demonstrations of effective fitness practices, and devices for organizing spa areas in sanatoriums.
