The V Anniversary Scientific and Practical Conference on Reproductive Health Protection for Children and Youth Took Place
From March 11 to 13, 2026, the V Anniversary Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation, "National and International Experience in Reproductive Health Protection for Children and Youth," was held in Moscow. The conference was under the scientific guidance of Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences G.T. Sukhikh, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor E.V. Uvarova, and the Chief Freelance Pediatric Surgeon of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Professor D.A. Morozov.
The congress was hosted by the Federal State Budgetary Institution "V.I. Kulakov National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology" of the Ministry of Health of Russia. According to preliminary statistics, over 500 participants from 9 countries – the Republic of Belarus, Egypt, Israel, India, Macedonia, Russia, Serbia, Uzbekistan, and Estonia – gathered at one venue.
Over three days, more than 150 Russian and foreign scientists and practitioners, including S.G. Vrublevsky, S.I. Gamidov, M.F. Ippolitova, I.V. Karachentsova, I.V. Kirgizov, N.A. Kokhreidze, T.S. Milosh, O.G. Mokrushina, D.A. Morozov, S.Yu. Muslimova, I.V. Nechushkina, Yu.E. Rudin, E.V. Uvarova, A.S. Funtikov, E.P. Khaschenko, and S.P. Yatsyk, discussed pressing issues of reproductive health for children and youth.
The program covered various areas related to current issues of prevention and health preservation in the field of reproductive health protection for adolescents and youth, aspects of organ-preserving reconstructive surgery in pediatric and adolescent urogenital and gynecological practice, methodological and technical innovations, and clinical outcomes in the correction of complex congenital anomalies and pathologies of the male reproductive organs.
A joint meeting of the chief freelance pediatric and adolescent gynecologists, pediatric surgeons, urologists-andrologists, and pediatric endocrinologists of the Federal Districts and constituent entities of the Russian Federation held a special place in the program. E.V. Uvarova, V.V. Sakharova, D.A. Morozov, S.P. Yatsyk, and O.V. Bezlepkina participated and presented reports. Specialists paid particular attention to the organizational and interdisciplinary aspects of providing pediatric reproductive and urological care, as well as issues of regulatory and legal regulation and the protection of adolescent reproductive health.
The scientific program featured bright and significant elements, including daily pre-courses: "Specifics of Performing Vaginoscopy and Hysteroscopy in Virgins. A Practical Masterclass" and "Pediatric Mammology." Participants had the opportunity to learn theoretical aspects and undergo personalized training in using a hysteroscope on simulators, as well as practice their skills in assessing the condition of adolescent mammary glands.
The Young Scientists Competition was held traditionally, during which young specialists presented the results of their research.

1st place – Duka Maria Vladislavovna (Omsk), 2nd place – Turchinets Anna Ilyinichna (Moscow), 3rd place – Alekseeva-Tulupova Maria Nikolaevna (Moscow).
