Starting on February 24th and through February 26th, 2010 an All-Russia scientific-educational forum "Preventive cardiology 2010" and the international specialized exhibition of modern equipment and medical products "Cardiology 2010" will be held in Congress Centre of the Hotel "Cosmos".

Organizers of the event are theMinistry of Health and social development of the Russian Federation, All Russia scientific society of cardiologists, State scientific-research center of preventive medicine Rosmedtechnology, National scientific society Cardiovascular preventive maintenance and rehabilitation, Joint-Stock Company "MEDI Expo".

Positive tendencies, indicating health of the population were outlined today: death rate from cardiovascular diseases is decreasing steadily and life expectancy is increasing. Despite all that, cardiovascular diseases are still in the lead among principal causes of death, disease and invalidity in Russia.

That is why a professional training of doctors, who will be capable at modern level to solve problems of preventive maintenance, diagnostics, treatments and rehabilitations of cardiologic patients is one of the priority directions of development of domestic public health services.

Scientific-educational forum "Preventive cardiology 2010" represents possibilities to increase professional level of doctors of practical public health services.

Within the frameworks of the Forum a symposiums and schools will take place, also leading domestic and foreign cardiologists will present to delegates advanced achievements of a cardiologic science from positions of demonstrative medicine.

At the exhibition of the modern equipment and medical products, which will be held parallel to the Forum, a wide range of choice of most effective of this products for an application in daily professional work will be presented.
