Award for young scientists named after Yu.N.Sokolov for the best scientific work on X-ray diagnosis

1. General Provisions

1.1. In order to identify and support talented young researchers, promote the professional growth of young scientists, encourage creative activity of young scientists in conducting research, the All-Russian National Congress of Radiology once a year awards a prize to young scientists named after Professor Yu.N. Sokolov for the best scientific work on radiation diagnosis.

1.2. The competition for the award to young scientists is held under the section "Radiation diagnosis."

1.3. For the award of young scientists accepted scientific work performed by the authors themselves. The author of a scientific work, recognized as the winner of the competition, is awarded a laureate diploma and a prize of 1,2,3 degrees.

1.4. The awards for the best scientific papers are valuable gifts and publication of materials in the form of articles in the Russian Electronic Journal of Radiation Diagnostics (REJR), included in the list of peer-reviewed scientific journals of the Higher Attestation Commission of Russia and indexed into the Scopus database.

1.5. The scientific works for the award of the young scientists are sent to the Expert Commission on the Prize by e-mail: radiology-nagrady@mail.ru. Theme: The award named after Yu.N. Sokolov.

1.6. The deadline for accepting scientific work is May 10, 2019.

2. The procedure for the nomination and registration of works for the award to the young scientists named after Yu.N.Sokolov

2.1. For the award of the young scientists are put forward scientific work, contributing to the development of scientific knowledge, characterized by originality in the formulation and solution of scientific problems related to the section "Radiation diagnosis" (x-ray method, computed and MRI, radionuclide diagnostics, interventional radiology, ultrasound and functional diagnostics).

2.2 . For awards for young scientists nominated work carried out by scientific and other young staff, residents, graduate students and doctoral students of institutions and organizations of the Ministry of Health, RAS, universities, research and medical institutions, as well as other medical organizations under the age of 30 years inclusive at the time of submission of work for the competition.

  • Scientific works are submitted to the competition by one author and are executed in accordance with the requirements set forth in paragraphs. 2.3
  • Handwritten dissertations are not accepted.
  • The works that were previously awarded the State Prizes, the Prizes of the Government of the Russian Federation, as well as the prizes and medals of the Russian Academy of Sciences for the award for young scientists are not accepted.

2.3. Each work put forward for the award for young scientists must meet the requirements of the journal REJR.

3. The procedure for consideration of works and approval of the results of the competition

3.1. The works submitted for the award for young scientists after the preview, design and    systematization evaluated by the expert committee.

3.3. The expert commission is competent to make decisions if more than half of the vote      her list. The decision of the expert committee is considered adopted if it received more than two thirds    votes from the voting members of the commission.

3.4. The decision of the expert committee is taken by secret or open vote by the decision of the expert committee. AT    secret ballot includes papers selected by a panel of experts.

3.5. Voting is held simultaneously on all work. A member of the expert committee may vote for no more than    one work included in a ballot or put to an open vote.
   Note. A bulletin with no marks or “recommended” marks for more than one job is considered    invalid.

3.6. If during the voting, none of the works received more than two-thirds of the number of the voting members of the expert    commission, the commission has the right to repeat the vote only once, indicating this in the protocol. In the newsletter for    re-voting includes works that received more than a third of the members of the expert    commissions

3.7. The decision of the Expert Commission on awarding the prize for young scientists for the best scientific work on the section    "Radiation diagnostics" are published on the official Congress website. (www.radiology-congress.ru), in the "Russian Electronic Journal of Radiation      diagnostics" (www.rejr.ru).

4. Presentation of the diploma of awarding the prize of young scientists

4.1. The person awarded the prize to young scientists to them. Yu.N.Sokolova issued diplomas of the established sample.

4.2. The prize is given to the laureates of the competition at the final plenary session of the All-Russian National    Congress of radiation diagnosticians and therapists.
