The focus of the scientific agenda was made on the most pressing issues of modern reproductive medicine – prevention of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality, miscarriages, management of pregnant women with extragenital pathology and high risk of obstetric complications, issues of auxiliary reproductive technology, preservation of reproductive health during various illnesses, medical and social aspects of health of middle-aged and elderly patients. Plenary session, dedicated to new methods of treatment of uterine fibroid, endometriosis, modern concepts of management of infertile patients, prevention and treatment of cervical pathologies and sexually transmitted diseases, etc. was also held.

Many leading Russian and foreign experts from reputable universities, hospitals, and medical centres of Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Germany, Israel, USA, Canada and other countries were invited to participate in the Congress; among them: A. According to the official statistics, 896 specialists from 21 countries (Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Israel, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, Latvia, Portugal, Russia, USA, Tadzhikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, France, Croatia, Japan) participated in the Congress; domestic delegates represented 163 cities and 58 subjects of the Russian Federation.

Within a framework of the Congress, delegates had an opportunity to visit an exhibition, where the leading manufacturers of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment had presented their latest developments.
