OFFICIAL REPORT OF THE XXVII INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS “NEW TECHNOLOGY IN DIAGNOSTICS AND TREATMENT OF GYNECOLOGICAL DISEASES”

In the scientific programme of the XXVII International congress “New technology in diagnostics and treatment of gynecological diseases” reputable foreign educational and clinical centers were represented by the following international experts:

In a framework of the congress, the first ever session of robotic surgery was conducted with participation of experts from the USA and Russia; a special training course on laparoscopic surgery (Winner’s Course) of the European Institute of TeleSurgery (EITS, Strasburg) had also taken place.
Reports and lectures were made about the possibilities of new technology in the areas of:
- gynecology, including diagnostics and correction of gynecological pathologies, such as
- uterine fibroid,
- tumors and tumor-like ovarian masses
- endometriosis
- stress incontinence
- pathologies of genital development
- infertility
- complex gynecological and extragenital pathologies
- endoscopy in the sphere of reconstructive surgery, reproductive science
- obstetrics
- foetal surgery
- pelvic surgery and oncogynecology
- alternative high tech methods of diagnostics and treatment of gynecological diseases.
Interactive broadcasts from operating rooms of the IEC were held within a framework of the entire congress; they demonstrated innovatory methods of reconstructive and plastic surgeries on reproductive organs during tubal-peritoneal infertility, uterine fibroid, Ascherman’s syndrome, endometriosis, benign ovarian masses, cervical cancer and endometrium, genital prolapse and stress incontinence.
A conference of the leading specialists of the federal subjects in obstetrics and gynecology took place during the congress.
The programme of the congress included broadcasts of video films, distribution of medical literature and video information, an exhibition of 18 of the leading companies in the area of medical equipment and drug production.
Participants of the congress were given an international diploma in Russian and English languages.
The XXVII International congress “New technology in diagnostics and treatment of gynecological diseases” was broadcast live on the Internet.
Overall, 744 participants from 16 countries ,151 cities, and 70 federal subjects of Russia attended the congress.
