According to the Ministry of Health of Russia, at present, preeclampsia is ranked 4th in the list of causes of maternal mortality and has an upward trend. World statistics show that hypertensive complications of pregnancy cause more than 70 000 maternal and 500 000 neonatal deaths annually. Thus, the medical and social significance of the problem is obvious.

At the Congress, leading experts from different regions of Russia will present up-to-date information on this issue, analyze complex clinical cases, modern effective methods to reduce adverse outcomes of critical conditions, as well as other extremely important issues.
