Dear colleagues!

On behalf of the (Russian) Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Public Health Services (Roszdravnadzor) and myself, I welcome the participants and guests of the IX All-Russian scientific-practical conference with international participation "Healthcare and quality - 2016"!

Development of health and strengthening of health of the Russian population is the most important area of ​​long-term state policy. Of particular importance are the quality and safety of medical activity.

Ministry of Health in conjunction with Roszdravnadzor, the executive and the legislature is working hard to solve this problem: the quality of care formed the criteria and the procedure of its provision, established uniform clinical guidelines.

There are currently actively implementing the project "Implementation of Proposals (practical recommendations) Roszdravnadzor for the organization of internal quality control and safety of medical activities in medical institutions", which largely determines the success of disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of the patient.

The conference will allow experts to exchange views, experiences and ideas in the field of practical medicine, and do everything to ensure that citizens' rights to health care are respected in any locality of the country, regardless of its size and location. I wish you all productive work.
