The section «Traditional tests and trends in the development of clinical biochemistry of cardiovascular diseases» is included in the program of the XXV Anniversary All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation "Science and Practice of Laboratory Research".

The focus of this section is on issues of implementation, interpretation and comparison of used and promising methods. The increase in the life expectancy of Russians largely depends on the timely diagnosis.

The use of modern diagnostic methods, especially in high-risk groups - in patients who are overweight, arterial hypertension, ischemic conditions, diabetes mellitus and other diseases - makes a big contribution to increasing the duration and quality of life.

Improving laboratory diagnostics is largely associated with the necessary and sufficient arsenal of laboratory tests and the ability to correctly interpret the results.
