Dear colleagues!

On behalf of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation and on my behalf I would like to congratulate you on opening of the All-Russia scientific forum «Mother and Child» and XIth International specialized exhibition «Care mother and child».

Today, in conditions of complex demographic processes, social and economic transformations, reforming of public health services in the country, health protection of women and children is one of the top-priority goals of the state social policy. The positive tendencies of increase in birth rate which have outlined last years, decrease in parent and infantile death rate testify about efficiency of realization of the top-priority national project "Health".

Medical aid to mothers and newborns should become accessible and qualitative. The important direction is development of hi-tech medical aid in obstetrics, gynecology and neonatology. And in this sense the Russian Scientific Forum «Mother and Child» and the International specialized exhibition «Care mother and child» are the most demanded platform for integration of modern technologies, knowledge and experience into a protective service of motherhood and childhood of the country.

Advanced achievements of the science and practice, presented to attention of the participants, will undoubtedly bring big contribution to business of the state importance – improvement of rendering of medical aid to mothers and children.
