Dear colleagues!

The implementation of the state programs aimed at the improvement of the demographic situation in the country and strengthening of the population’s reproductive health is under way now, so our project, familiar to thousands of specialists, has received a new impetus for its development.

I am happy to welcome you at the XIth International specialized exhibition «Care mother and child-2009» and the Xth Jubilee All-Russia forum «Mother and Child» - the most significant presentation site and the major scientific event devoted to the problems of maternity and childhood in Russia.

I am convinced that the best practices of Russian specialists and scientists, as well as their foreign colleagues, will contribute to the professional growth of doctors working in one of the most important sectors of public health.

Annually the exhibition and forum walk side by side, giving the visitors a unique chance to get acquainted with the latest achievements in the world of science and with the innovations of manufacturers of medical equipment and medicines. A wide spectrum of equipment for gynecological consulting rooms, extracorporal fertilization laboratories, for resuscitation, medicines, nutriceuticals and vitamin complexes, high technology equipment, blood cells storage banks, new arrivals in medical literature and other no less interesting and important achievements of more than 130 Russian and foreign companies.

On behalf of MEDI Expo I express my gratitude to the Ministry of health and social development of the Russian Federation, the Federal State Institution «The academician V.I. Kulakov research center of obstetrics, gynecology and perinatology», the Russian society of obstetricians-gynecologists and the Chamber of commerce and industry of the Russian Federation for cooperation and support in holding the event.
