Speech of the Vice President of the Congress “Radiology-2020”

Dear colleagues and friends,

I am sincerely happy to invite you to Moscow to the largest scientific and educational congress, regularly gathering thousands of participants! We will meet to share knowledge, unify experience, hear and discuss different points of view.

I have no doubt that the program will be eventful; it will certainly have a large educational component, which is very important at the current stage of pedagogical transformations. Given that Professor N.S. Serova, corresponding member of the RAS, one of the leading experts in radiation diagnostics of the head and neck area, was elected the President of the Congress, this topic will be central theme of the program. However, of course, all other branches of diagnostic radiology will be presented in 18 traditional topics that take into account the interests of various radiology specialists.

At the XIV Russian National Congress "Radiology-2020", we will attempt to clarify up-to-date priorities for the development of our specialty. I am certain that our scientific specialty has a promising future, since I see it in the glare of the eyes of young people who engage in science, education and practice.

To be involved in the development of modern diagnostic and therapeutic radiology is not only important from a scientific and educational point of view, but it is also an honor. The Congress will give you this opportunity.
